A Celebrity Photographer specialising in close up and intimate photos of Female Celebrities including Portraits, Candid and Editorial. Covering Celebrity Event Photography in the London area. Stars photographed  numbering well over a thousand spanning a number of years. How did it all start and why the World of Showbiz?

HISTORY

A former Celebrity Blogger for a number of years thrown quite violently by life into a photographers pen at an awards event in Mayfair Central London on 29 May 2012. Didn’t have a clue what I was doing, not even sure why I was there, but that event started a 3 year and 1 month journey into the world of glitz and glamour, celebrities and stars from all walks of life, a lot from London and the UK but also global big names. You could say from Celebrity Blogger to Celebrity Photographer right at the coal face.

HOW MANY?

To this day I have no idea how the exact number of celebrities I met during that time but certainly over a thousand, most probably more. Some regularly on a weekly basis, some you see once never to see again. Some you are waiting hours or days to get just a single shot, others you manage to see repeatedly within a few hours. It’s just the luck of the draw.

THE JOB

A high octane job with highly erratic pay and anti-social hours….this is no 9-5 job. BUT you certainly see how the other half live and you have to be interested in people to do this job, the stars pick up on this and they will give you that elusive shot.

Started off in the early days shooting mostly male and female celebrities but rapidly came to realise the female celebrities seemed to warm to myself and my camera more than the men so that became my speciality. The rest as they is history. Most of the photos that feature on this website are of female stars.

THE WORK

The work can cover anything from red carpet events such as awards and film premieres, promotional events and product launches, Radio and TV station arrivals and departures, Hotel surveillance, Fashion Events such as London Fashion Week…the list goes on. I shot from the official photographers pens, shot from the crowd pens surrounded by hundreds of screaming hysterical fans, did the meet and greet where they are getting out of the car and heading to the red carpet, did surveillance and investigative work and shot with some of the top London Paparazzi rugby scrum style. You name it…….. I did it….but it has to be said the pens were my least favourite places.

WHAT YOU SEE?

Saw some amazing things, saw things that most people will never see, met many people and saw some things I never want to see again. Do I wish I had not spent 3 years photographing celebrities and maybe done something else. The answer is I would not have it any other way. The good thing is you have an extensive archive to show for the all the hours you put in. Not many jobs can say that!

The Portfolios featured on this website include Editorial, Candid and Portraits and further updates feature on the Blog as and when.
